How to restore previous version of file from One Drive
You will need to sign into the web version of One Drive to do this.
- Go to https://portal.office.com
- Sign in with your work or school account if this is One Drive for business.
- Navigate to the OneDrive folder or SharePoint folder where the file is located.
- Alternatively, you can right click the file on your device and choose the option "View Online".
- Once you are viewing the file in question, click the three vertical dots in the line with the file and click on version history.
- You will then be able to view or restore a previous version of a file.
- Microsoft 365 keeps up to 100 previous versions of any given file depending on how many times the file has been modified.
