Frequently Asked Questions

We already have a firewall like Dell Sonicwall or Fortinet.
If we had a dollar for every time we see a network with a firewall like that.  Typically, it is assumed that they are managed when it turns out that absolutely no one has been managing that device.  A pretty good indicator of that is when we discover that the device is way past End of Life (EoL) and is no longer supported by the manufacturer.  Another indicator is that the active licensing that allows the maintaining and updating of that firewall has expired even if the device itself is not EoL.  It is actually quite alarming where we find such devices.

One time, we even found an EoL WatchGuard device on a network that was turned on but was not even connected to the network correctly so that the network was not behind it.  It was basically setting there doing absolutely nothing but consuming electricity.  We call this Christmas lights when devices are lit up but are just for looks.

When we sell you a WatchGuard Firebox, we actively manage and monitor the WatchGuard on your behalf.  We alert you when its time to renew its licensing.  We monitor the uptime, the quality of your internet connections and we get automated tickets opened up within our service desk when there are events or issues that need our immediate attention.

Do you get all that with your current solution or is your current security not giving you a good return on your investment and leaving you vulnerable and exposed?

We also offer additional Endpoint level security, management and monitoring that when combined with your WatchGuard appliance greatly enhances your cybersecurity infrastructure investment.
