Standard Change - Security Event Monitor Change Ticket #15455
We will be implementing a change to the Security Event Monitor soon.
Currently, the Security Event monitor is a collection of automated monitors for things such as "antivirus database not updated in one week" or "client security communication error" and similar such monitors alerts.
When an Incident Request is generated for these alerts all the tickets appear with the same title "Security Event [Managed and Monitored Workstations]....".
We plan to split these monitors up into individual monitors on our ITSM system for that the ticket titles are more granular and less vague in title and so that they do not all appear is the same type of alert.
This change will likely take effect over this weekend, the weekend of Saturday July 25th, 2020.
This change is part of our effort to streamline our automation and make our alerts more informative
